The room also boasts a host of books and board games and is filled with local artwork. This room is often filled with laughter and has hosted many celebrations and warm memories.
Caldey House is also home to the Newgale Lodge bar which can be opened upon request for those holiday nights in with friends and family. This space has additional sofa seating as well as bar seating and can hold up to thirty people, making it a versatile and social space. The continental breakfast is additionally served in this space each morning, which is included in any overnight stay in Caldey House.
There is a conference room attached to Caldey House which seats 30 individuals and has a history of being used for residential training and as an activity room for schools. However, the space also works wonderfully as a function room as well and is frequently rented out by groups for their stay or for events.
Finally, Caldey House gives its guests access to the grounds, including the games room and two outdoor areas belonging to the house – the first of which has wood fire pizza oven, very popular with guests for gourmet alfresco dining in the evening. The second space is a patio facing the west of the site which perfectly captures Pembrokeshire’s sunsets and leads to a fire pit which is much loved by visiting groups and families.
